Well, that movie came out yesterday in stores. I was a like beyond major huge LOTR fan last year, and then they hype died down for me a few months after. Anyways, i was waiting for the extended edition dvd to come out, but i wasn't really paying attention as to when it would. Anyways, i was online last night and my friend Jenna was like "Aren't you all into that LOTR extended dealy or whatver tonight?" I was like "oh... did that come out today??" Haha, it was pretty funny! I was like "well, i suppose i can run to the store really quick to get it..." And guess who got the last copy?!?! HEHEHE!! Anywyas, i started watching it last night - only the new stuff, but then i got caught up listening to the cast commentary - too funny! I didn't even make it to the second disc.

Anywya, did anyone else get it, and if so what have you thought of the new additional stuff?? I like what i've seen so far a lot!

I'm thinking of getting it...would you be able to briefly give a run-down of the main deleted scenes/extended scenes by any chance? Is it much different?

I'm guessing you might want to 'spoilerise' your answers so people who don't want to know yet, don't find out

Cheers.

My older brother and I have brought it for our younger brother for Christmas... he has the other two extended editions as well, so he might actually appreciate his gift this year,

It came out?! I am DEFINITELY going to get it! Today, or at least sometime this week, I hope to get to Target to buy Mel Brooks' History of the World- Part I, and I'll buy this too!

They've got a thing w/ Sauruman on there and wormtongue. They've got a LOT more scenes w/ Merry. They've got more scenes w/ Eyown and Faramir. Also more of when Eyown defeats the witch king, and then in the house of healing. Hmm.. whatelse. Oh there's a scene w/ Pippin and Faramir that's new. There's quite a bit, and it's a good time. There's also another new scene w/ Sam and Frodo in Mordor. I deff. think you should get it. In the two bonus discs, there's a TON fo great stuff, and they even have quite a few of the "farwells" of the cast, and their finals takes and everything - i cried actually...loL!!

Guess what! My sister's getting it for Xmas lol! Now I get to watch it without having to pay for it lol!

I'm not too bothered about all the documentaries and stuff- Not being a massive fan, I like watching the deleted scenes but the documentaries and stuff I find a bit boring lol.

Well, I guess I'll see what I think when I get to see it then lol.
Have a great Xmas all,
J.
