Well, do you think they should?
It was nice to see Picard in the pilot episode of DS9, just as it had been nice to see McCoy in Encounter at Farpoint. But would it have been nice to see other TNG characters in Emissary.
Personally, I think it worked just having Picard in. After all, it was the pilot of DS9 and not an episode of TNG. But a lot of fans I have spoken to over the years think more TNG characters should have been in the pilot.
What do you all think?

Definatly more. I was glad to see Patrick Stewart appear in Emisary just as I liked DeForest Kelley in Encounter at Farpoint. I would have liked more in {i]Emisarry[/i], considering it was during the TNG season and it was like crossing the threshhold between starships asnd space stations. I liked seeing Armin Shimmermin in Caretaker (Voy Pilot) as well. But I would have liked more in there too. Enterprise I liked the guy who played Chochrine in First Contact showing up for a few seconds and it would have been kinda have someone from the future show up on Enterpise *lol*.
Just my 2 cents.

Hell no. I only liked Picard in it to "pass the torch" so to speak. No more TNG charecters. Why would there be such a need?
Besides....we got two more. Chief O'Brian and Worf.

They could have had some tng people not the whole crew but Riker and Data would have been enough

No.
It would have confused people. This is a new series, not TNG. You need to spend time establishing the new crew, not showing off the old one.

I have to agree with Defiant. It would have confused and my point of view would be weird

It was good to have a familiar face though. Everyone remembers OBrien, and good trekkies should have recognized Bashir too. But they didnt go overboard, which was good.

Yeah Bashir was in an episode in TNG. I believe he was with Data most of the time.
Anyone who wanted the TNG crew to be in the pilot for DS9 is just begging for more of a now dead crew.

I think that if it's a DS9 show, the DS9 crew should be in it.
