Voyager still needs a movie but it could be a good thing.

The TNG cast are getting on a bit now; I wouldn't want to see them puffing around like TOS cast did in their later movies.
Trek needs a short rest for now. It needs a new creative team for starters - it's all gone stale at the moment.

Just out of interest, why do you think that? |
Well maybe it is several reasons. Nemesis did not do as good as paramount would have hoped. All the crew are on doing other things now, and Patrick Stuart if I recall correctly already said he was finished hes trek acting days. Another thing also is the TNG fan base is not growing any bigger at the moment. If paramount wanted a movie that would give a good return then a enterprise movie would be most logical because that is the show that is catching fans now.
As much as I love TNG, I think it's days are finished. One more movie is possible, and I would really like to see the producers try and pull it off, but i'm not getting my hopes up.

I wasn't aware that Patrick Stewart had said he was finished with Trek so thank you for sharing that with me, PrankishSmart.
Not many people would be interested (maybe). I know Michael Dorn expressed an interest in an article I read in an issue of Star Trek Magazine from late 2003. William Frakes also implied he'd be interested. Marina Sirtis, in an interview, thinks Trek should go away for a few years and come back completely fresh in about ten years.
It'd be interesting to get the views of Rick Berman, Brannon Braga and the cast of the various Trek shows to offer their views on whether they think there should be another Trek movie and what type of movie it should be. I'd love to hear what Avery Brooks, Gates McFadden and Kate Mulgrew think about Trek on the big-screen.
