I went to a party last night, and lo and behold I came home with a kitten. LOL She's all black and still pretty tiny. I havent got the slightest clue what to name her, so I'd appreciate any suggestions! THANKS from me, and my kitten.

My first suggestion was "kitty kitty", as that is what it's going to hear most of the time, 'Here, kitty kitty!"

How about the name Midnight? If I had a black cat like that I would be naming the cat it.

My aunt already has a black cat named midnight. It's sooo retarded. I wouldn't want to insult my cat by the association.

The cat. Midnight is just so over-used. I'd like something original.

Du means You in Swedish. And German, so you could just name it You.
I think you should name it Swifty. If it'sa guy-cat, that is. If it's a girl name it...
Swifta? Swiftette?
No, no! I know!
Name it BOB!

Daisy if it's a girl or Norman if it's a boy
Or... the next cat I get I'm naming Highway. Just because it's random and cool.

I would name it meemo. Because that is a cool name.
The next cat I get (If I ever get another cat...) will be awesome, because I will call it Cat, short for The Cat Who Walks By Himself from Rudyard Kipling's "Just So Stories". Those are so awesome.

Oh sheesh. I hate Rudyard Kipling, his stories are boring, And his philosophy is so conceited.

Nyx, it means 'night' and it's Greek in origin, I think.
Aine, Celtic, means 'Joy'
Airlia, Greek, means 'Ethereal'
And here are ones that mean 'Night' :

How about 'Mr. Bigglesworth'?
With cats its always the standard names like Garfield(not very original) or Tiger or mickey.
But thats just jokes, now seriously. I have the perfect name because one of our own cats was called that.....:
Scooter!
