A Fort Stewart soldier due to return home in March was killed. Thursday while on duty in Iraq, according to his family.
U.S. Army Pfc. George Daniel Harrison 22, was part of the 293rd Military Police Company. Harrison, from Knoxville, TN, was assigned to the 3rd Platoon.
He was just a child. He had his whole life ahead of him.'' his step grandmother, Carolyn Harrison said Thursdaynight shortly after learning of his death.
The military has yet to release information.
Harrison had an five year old Army Enlistment.


There is more of this but my fingers are tired It is a long story.

I feel for his family. I pray that one day our troops will come home.
I don't have anything negative to say about it, just reporting what I saw in the paper.
