George Takei will be on GMTV (ITV1) on December 2nd at 8.35, and will be interviewed by Lorraine Kelly. After this interview, George will be taking part in a live web and video cam chat on GMTV from 9.30 - 10am.

I live in America. I would have loved to have seen it. Sulu was my favorite charecter in the TOS series.

Yeah iw atched it and recorded it . lol. It was Kool and thwere was a time when geoge and lorraine was doing the "live long and prosper" hand gesture OH and he said that "Enterprise" was actually a metophore for earth!

No, not really. He said about Uhura & Chove and the face that there werent people like them on TV at that time. He also mentioned that His favorite movie was Star Trek: VI WHICH I WAS SO HAPPY ABOUT CUZ THATS MY FAVORITE TOO!
and he likes it for the same reasons as me as well. Cuz the excelsior is in it and sulu is in it as a captain and saves the day etc.
He also mentioned that he did a voice over for mulan 2 which is coming out soon.

I think he played a pivotal role in The Undiscovered Country. It's such a shame that the only other appearance of Sulu as a Captain was the Voyager episode "Flashback".

Yeah, i think he should have had a series on the USS Excelsior (Favorite ship ever) and with Captain Sulu... or at least a film.
