Favorite Christmas Songs

My All-Time Favorite: Holly Jolly Christmas/Jingle Bell Rock (both classics, both great)
Other Favorite: I'm taking a liking to Run Rudolph Run, a semi-recent rock song in the style of Chuck Berry, and Santa Claus is Back in Town, another semi-recent song by Johnny Lang, but I'm also very fond of, and have been for years, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus," all good songs and both of these final are classics. I'm sure that there's more, like Frosty, but I can't think of them right now...

So, what is your favorite Christmas song and other songs that you really like.

^So agree. Bing Crosby rules when it comes to Christmas music. I also love Christmas music by Manheim Steamroller. They are awesome.

I like Silent Night. Always have, since I was little.

I wanted to point out though, I find it a little funny that you have that big ole siggy, yet you didn't post any songs more about Christ than Christmas. Just an observation....

OooOoooOo!!! I loooove Daughter Sion (at least I think that's how you translate it).
It's one of the few songs (or maybe it's a psalm) that gives me "chilles" down my spine! But it has to be live thou.

I haven't replied yet because it's just so hard to choose an all-time favourite but I've got to go with Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, a sad but very nice song.

Yes, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. They did some great songs, Michael wrote some songs.

WEIRD. They've just come on the radio with their song, The Edge of Heaven. That's spooky.

I would have to say that my top 3 are "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "O Come All Ye Faithful", and "Let It Be Christmas". In that order as well. Everything else is goooood to, just as long as it is pretty traditional...I hate it when people go off in weird directions on Christmas music .
