My idea was sparked by B'Elanna Torres 7 of 9's comment in the "What you do if you can't sleep" or whatever topic, about drinking it with milk. I could NOT agree more. It makes it taste SO GOOD! But yeah. What do you all think?

With milk. Don't like milk alone, but hot chocolate made with milk...and whipped cream on it... *cackles* The ONLY way to do hot chocolate.

Generally, I prefer it with milk, but I guess it really depends on the brand. Quick is best with milk. The instant ones in the envelopes are better with water... so... yeah... whatever. I also made it from scratch one with bakers chocolate... not bad..

When I make hot chocolate, I put in a bit of milk first, then put in 4 heaping teaspoons of chocolate powder. I mix the powder with the milk and it makes chunkey chocolate milk. I then add hot water from my special tap (I have a hot water tap. It's sole purpose is to heat water for coffee, tea and hot chocolate and such. It's always steaming hot water. ) I put the water in and mix it. Having mixed the powder with the milk first, it puts a creamy foam layer on the top of it.

So yeah, both milk and water

Interesting Add whip cream onto any Hot Chocoloate, and it becomes creamier.

Water. Sometimes with milk, but as I rarely drink hot beverages, I haven't experimented much.

It tastes just as good cold, IMO. With milk. It's just nasty with water, hahah

I usually have it cold. Cold milk, and chocolate powder. Tastes just as good as hot chocolate, in my opinion.

Hmmm... no offense, but this seems a little off the wall...

Anyway, when I make instant cocoa, I make it with water, but add milk too.

Erm, it depends what brand. Cadburys is nice with water, Asdas is nice with milk and others I use half milk half water.

I drink milk.
Milk good. Anna like.

I probably drink like... at least a liter day. Yeah, milk good. But warm milk - baaaad. And hot chocolate is to sweet for my taste.

We will never run out of oil, because no one will afford to use the last litre.

I drink a lot of milk, and also agree that hot cocoa has to be made with milk. Otherwise it is much too runny and you have to add too much chocolate. And then it gets gross. Bleargh.

Water. Milk leaves a coating on your vocal cords, and it dammages them if you use them the way I do. I almost never drink milk or soda.

A bit of both... instant tastes better with water, but you can add a bit of milk to it to make it creamier.

I only drink instant, but if I was making up proper stuff I'd just use milk.
