There has been numerous reports of the instability of some older games for use with XP, however if your '98 computer works with it it should be used only on that one.

Try patching it. Dominion Wars is, and always has been, a very buggy game. Ive had many problems with it, on my all star computer.

Change the combatibility to win 98 standards or WIN ME.
Its in the properties or you can go to the program compatibility wizard

Ok have you installed any addons/mods that are 3rd party? Have you attempted to tweak the game in any way? Patching is not always the answer, perhaps you have a bad sprite or something of that sort. If you have no addons/mods installed that are 3rd party I suggest reinstalling Armada onto your computer.

Ok heres what I believe your problem is. If you have installed it in a wierd way, (such as pasting the BC folder off a cd in the game) any way besides going through the setup you have this problem. If you did install using the setup there is no reason why you should have this problem. Either way heres what I suggest you do:
Reinstall Bridge Commander using the default CD going through the setup.
If not then your BC disk may be bad.

You're to late, lol. I already fixed it The patch was a virus. Lucky i have a good Virus Detector, so i deleted the patch and downloaded a new one. BC is working fine now on the net

That one took me forever too, just gotta go around until you free all the miners. There are a ton of them, and those caves are impossible to navagate.
