This just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for next week's eppy, to see how this ends. This cliffhanger really left you in the dark, but keeps you interested. Man, V'loss really is an a-hole though.

Good episode!
I wish I could smack that administrator Vulcan on the side of his head.
I liked the scene at the end with T'pol and her mother. T'Pol cried, it was sad.

Yes, I liked that. It showed that even Vulcans can be emotional in tough situations like that. And V'Loss, definitely needs to be slapped straight.

This episode was great, I really enjoyed the ending with T'Pol and her mother and the Enterprise heading for Andoria. The beginning was also great, especially that whole stuff with T'Pow, Archer, and Suvak (I think). If I were to rate this episode I'd say it was a 9.0

I really liked the eppisode. However, I wasn't too fond of the cliff hanger. It's probably better this way, because the plot is more developed, but I wish it could have been a two hour special. I haven't felt this anxious about star trek since TNG.

No.
Archer found it, and the last scene with the artifact in it was Archer, T'Pol, and T'pau escaping with it.

I think it was a poor transition from "hey, get this dude's spirit out of my head" to "you know that artifact that you've been looking for? Well, I can find it."

I think that was just cause he didn't realize exactly what was in his head at the time, but then when he saw the second vision of Surak during the ritual, he realized how important he was.

I watched it again last night. When Sarek was ill and had lesions on his face, he told Archer to find the artifact. I forget the name of the artifact but it was something hard to remember. That was the only transition from, "Get out of my head", to, "Find the artifact." The fact that it was hard to remember the name and also because there was only one line said made it difficult to follow.
I thought it was interesting when the artifact was in Archer's hands and he was about to give it to T'Pak (the woman who wanted Sarek's spirit), there was immediately a photonic blast which shook the ground and the artifact remained in Archer's hands. It made it seem as if the artifact was to be held by Archer alone.
After watching it twice I could see what the writers of the film wanted to accomplish. They made good use of coincidences. For instance, when Sivek died and transferred the spirit of Sarek to Archer, you don't know if he did it because Archer was the closest or if the was the choosen one. Also, I mentioned earlier that the artifact remained in Archer's hands after he tried to give it to T'Pak. You don't know if it's coincidental or if it was predetermined.
I like it when humans are possessed with divine aliens.

The character, V'Las, bother me a great deal in this episode.
The whole concept of an internal investigation concerning the head of security's actions at the vulcan embassy were dismissed in a throwaway line, stated by V'Las, by accusing the Vulcan to be a member of the Syrannite, and claiming this as further evidence for his single-minded madness to kill so many people who believe a different concept of Surak's teachings.
The basic teachings of Surak turned the Vulcan society into one of logic and peace, however, I cannot see either of those in V'Las as he orders the Forge to be bombed with heavy weapons, the order to attack Enterprise, a Starfleet vessel representing the interests of a partner and ally, and the first strike against Andoria that will spark a dangerous war which would eventually encompass and involve Earth in one form or another. If V'Las were a Vulcan of peace and logic, non-violent measures would have been attempted constantly to reach some sort of acceptible solution to the situation.
What was his obsession with "Killing people" and wanting no witnesses? If he was that desperate to eliminate all witnesses, why not just take out the Enterprise instead of letting her leave, knowing they have an ex-Ambassador onboard with crucial information concerning events.
... This character bothered me greatly.

I think V'loss annyed everybody. That was the point of his character, to be the antagonist that everybody hated.

One thing that bothered me in this episode was that the Syrranites looked like humans. Their hair were not helmet-like and it covered their ears.

jimgolian,
When you said, "chosen one," I immediately thought of Sisko (The Emissary). I doubt Ent will play it out to the extent of DS9 and the spin on the "chosen one" is different enough for me to not relate it to DS9 at first exposure.
