This episode was awesome. I really liked the effect of the sand fire on Vulcan in the desert. If I were to rate this on chakotay99's scale...I'd say it was a 8.5

*I was in and out of the room during this episode so some of this review may be a little *different* than what went on during the plot line.
The Forge was a good episode. I really liked the plot line but there was one thing I really didnt like about it. So far in Season four of Enterprise there has been a two part episode (Storm From) and a 3 part episode Saga and one episode that didnt require more than one hour to tell the story. I think that ENTs crew (Not Archer but the behind the scene crew) is over using the two part episodes. There really should be about 3 or 4 episodes in between two part eps.
Having Archer and TPol go down to Vulcan, out of com range and transporter was awesome. It showed what Archers character is towards his First Officer (Simple said, It shows that he cared for TPol). Having them meet the other Vulcan was a little strange (and how Archer Knew where to go after the Vulcan died).
Very little Hoshi or Travis this episode again, I really wish they would use those characters more than what they do. They have some of the best backgrounds which are just going down the drain to waste.\
7.9

This episode is a great start to a potentially great story arch. Going into what could be a philosophical revolution that will change Vulcan society is an awesome idea. Ent goes beyond the previous series by exploring and explaining "peripheral" Star Trek races.

I agree. This arch proves to be the best thing that has happened for Enterprise, as was the Brent Spiner arch. I still don't know why they have to keep putting them in three parts though .

I was disgusted with the little I saw. Not one Vulcan acts like a Vulcan on that show.

One of the best vulcan episodes yet, truly good.
Although a shame we wont see Vaughn Armstrong as Admiral Forrest anymore. He was cool.

He was cool. A familiar face back at home, so now theyll have to pick someone else to follow the vulcan ambassador around a bunch. Come to think of it, they have to replace Saval too! He got fired.
Uhh...rating? An 8.

This was such a great episode in my view, other than the bad things like Admiral Forrest's death and such, that I can't wait until Friday for the other part of it .

The admiral's death may not be in vain. It seems that the ambassador may be poised to be the main opposition to the High Command.

HAha
After watching one of the scenes again, there's this funny dialouge:
<T'Pol helps Archer off the ground>
Archer: "He said something in Vulcan... 'Bucow'(spelling?)."
T'Pol: "Remember. Remember what?"
Archer: "I think he punched me."
HAHAHA... Mind meld = punch in face. HAHAH

I looooooooooved this episode. Of course that's not saying much, considering I loved pretty much every Enterprise episode except Hatchery, but this season just keeps getting better and better!!! Hopefully this can explain some of the problems that the "Anti-Enterprise" people had with the way the Vulcans were portrayed in the earlier seasons.

That's the purpose of this arc though, is to fix that. It's going to be rough at first, but the resolution should explain the problems. By the end of the arc. The whole thing about "mind melds are forbidden" will be fixed. Because of the lack of stress from the conflict, the Vulcans will be less emotional. You also must remember, this 100 years before TOS, they're not going to act exactly the same. A species attitude, changes over that period of time. What this arc will do, is explain how the Vulcans got changed from the ones we saw in the first seasons of ENT, to the ones we saw in TOS, TNG, VOY, and DS9.
