What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
Im getting on the train tomorrow morning, and going home! I get 4 days at home before I come back to college. So I will have a great time hanging out with people for 4 days, mostly my family. I will go to my grandmas house on Thanksgiving day to feast, then I get all the massive amounts of leftovers to take back to college.

Somewhat, Sinterklaas looks like Santa Claus (that sounds exactly like Sinterklaas..). But his b-day is 5 dec., everyone gives everyone presents and everyone presents and everyona acts like he/she is happy.

Cool, cool. On thanksgiving, we eat massive amounts of food, watch football, and gather up families from all over. Its pretty cool.

I'm going to my uncle and his wife's (not my aunt, mind you) house. Usually the entire extended family goes to a big cabin in estes park and it's awesome... but. no. instead we have to go to evil indain wendy's (that's his wife). but the cool thing is that it's open bar for everyone and my uncle deals a lot of card games. we usually play with real money too. so thanksgiving turns into vegas night with booze and poker. woohoo!

mmmm, food and football. great mix.
For Thanksgiving, my family is spending the afternoon with my grandpa at his house while my half-brother, his wife, and my grandma go to Arizona (they left Monday and will be next week sometime). After that, I plan on coming home and doing...nothing! (Which is what I do best ).

My grandma lives...12 miles from my house in Portland, so its not far to go. We get a few people together, no one special or anything. My cousin always comes, he lives 20 miles away, hes really cool. Hes 72 and hikes and backpacks and takes pictures all over the northwest! He rocks. No long lost aunts or anyone who I only see on thanksgiving though.

Well my sister is coming home from college and we are going to get to eat a $4.00 turkey! (No joke on the price either, it was $.39 per pound).

Thats crazy. We have a like 20 pound turkey or something. I dunno. All I know is my grandma cooks it a little or the dry side, and I wont eat gravy so thats how it stays, and I like eating it.

I got a free turkey from work.
But since we're going to our chai-drinking-indian-loving-uncle's-wife's house, we're not sure if we're going to have turkey or not. probably some soy turkey. or tofurkey.

My family and I will be driving down to Madison, WI for Thanksgiving!! My mom has 10 brothers and sisters (so you can imagine all the aunts, uncles, and cousins!!) that's where everyone lives so that's where we go for holidays normally. Sometimes we'll go up north to my dad's family like last year - it alternates from year to year. Anyways, i'm PSYCHED!! We won't have Thanksgiving dinner though till Sat !! We usually have it a day or two after so everyone can celebrate it w/ their other families on the day of. MMMM FOOD!! I am SOOO looking forward to Stuffing, and Greenbean casirole! YUMMY!! I wish i had 5 stomachs just for THanksgiving dinner b/c it's so darn good, but i get full way WAY too fast!!

We're all staying right at home. My mom is cooking a big turkey, lots of veggies and mashed potatoes. And we're having a lot of good friends and neighbors over to share it all. Ironically, I don't think any of my actual family is coming over, except those who live in our house

Thanksgiving seems like nifty tradition. We don't have it. Maybe I should pay a visit to you American people. I'm sure you'd welcome me, a European Communist, into your family occasion with opened arms!
Or not. And I don't blame you.
