Look at just how much the Republicans beat out the Dems in this election--and NO this was NOT doctored--I've seen it on the news, too.

Forgetting something?
* Only accounts for the 48 constituent states, as we all know that Alaska and Hawaii are too insignificant to include on this map. . . .

Yes, but we do know that Alaska went for Bush and Hawaii went for Kerry...

That because most of the Kerry areas are big citys with huge populations. Most of the rural areas with little population are republican

That's an interesting map, but you have to remember, most of the blue areas are populations of over 100,000 while most of the red areas are populations of under about 10,000 (a guess, I don't have the numbers in front of me.)
The map accuretly portrays where the votes came from, but not the numbers of votes.

A Bush fan, right? Then thanks for proving the accuracy of the chart. The chart was made by chrisevans3d.com, but the data was not collected by him (if you care to read). The data was published by The Economist, who later retracted their claims, because they could not independently verify it. Other publications who also published it have yet to do this however.

Yet Bush is supposed to have a higher IQ than Bush. Strange isn't it.

Bush is supposed to have a higher IQ than Bush
The chart is by no means accurate, but they did state their source, and the fact that it isn't accurate very clearly at the bottom of the chart.
And the cart isn't showing the IQ of the canidates, it's the states they won

Bush is supposed to have a higher IQ than KERRY. New York Times article(a extreme liberal paper). It is thought that Bush a few points over Kerry.

Yes, AND Kerry just went to Yale. Bush went to Harvard, too, and graduated from both.

It doesn't really matter who is smarter in some ways, because someone can be really smart but not a good leader. It's their morals, leadership skills and so on in my opinion.

It's not about the IQ of the candidate, it's about the IQ of the people who voted.

ON the site I posted (A parent of the map in which you describe) it shows a cartogram manipulating size relative to population.

Well, that's that then. Of course, you folks did vote for Bush, so, symbolically the chart still has merit.

Yeah, I saw that one. I thought it was very accurate.
I don't remember which map I was talking about, but I think it was just showing where the votes came from, not the numbers. Thus making it visually misleading.
