I do! We have provinces here. Each one has its own Dutch dialect, and though those are hardly spoken anymore, someone from Zuid-Holland wouldn't follow someone from Zeeland.... But those provinces are neighbours.

Noord-Holland doesn't have a dialect (maybe Amsterdam)! we speak normal dutch in IJmuiden, haarlem, alkmaar, Den Helder.

It's actually a dialect too, but it was accepted long ago as ABN (standard Dutch), because most people lived over there and thus spoke that dialect.

No, it was called Dutch when they made Holland. The language the people spoke when they Founded 'Koninkrijk der Nederlanden' was called dutch, that was in Noord and Zuid-Holland. Afterwards the different dialects where created when other provinces joined Holland as The Nehterlands.
