If you watch Enterprise you know he is takes the role very seriously. I think he evens gives 120% on every episode just too make the show more interesting. Seeing as how he is a great actor. Scott Bakula needs the love and support of his fans.

True but even with all the effort he puts into Enterprise the show just wastes all his effort by contradicting other Star Treks such as the Borg and making it very boring.

OK maybe not boring but you have to admit it doesn't live upto the other Star Treks reputations. I know it hasn't had much of a chance to live upto them but atleast the other Star Treks were more interesting in their first and second series.

I think the problem with ENT, initially, is that it tried to please everyone. It tried to cater for longtime, hardcore Trekkies and newer sci-fi fans and because of this, didn't know what it wanted to be.
Season 3 was a real improvement because I personally think the show decided to just try and tell interesting stories rather than continue in a futile attempt to try to please ALL fans of Trek and Sci-Fi.
As for Archer, I like the guy. He's a no-nonsense Captain, much like Kirk was. And Scott Bakula is a fine actor. Quantum Leap, anyone?

I couldn't agree with you more. Well said SD.

Season 3 has been ok so far. Not much improvement but to be fair it did just start.

Scott Bakula ia a great actor. The show doesn't suck because of the actors. It because of the producers.

The producers is the reason it stinks. The actors are great.

Yeah well maybe the producers will get their fingers out of their F***in arse's eventually and do somethin that will make more people like the show. (sorry about the language)

Yeah, but I believe all the actors/actresses give it there all on every episode. Scott deserves his props though.

Well, incase you haven't noticed................... COUGHCOUGHENSIGNHARRYKCOUGHCOUGH................There is a new producer right now, and everything has improved drastically. All B&B are doing is supervizing. Literally. They get paid, to pretty much check over what Coto does, and maybe give a little advice here and there. And don't get me wrong, I don't think they're bad producers, I just think their brains started to fizzle after so many years of doing Trek.

I agree with you, a liuttle bit. I don't think that Berman is "drief up" he just needs a break... a very long one.
Archer was the perfect pick for the role, I really can't see enterprise now without him acting as captain on it. He is the main character of the show, everyon has to agree with that. He is the "Buffy" of enterprise.

I really truly adore Scott Bakula's acting. Even in movies that aren't very notable, he does a fantastic job--like in this movie "Above Suspicion" that I saw.
And yay, for the mention of Buffy! The idea of an Enterprise without Bakula seriously boggles my mind.

My best friends mom is 100% obsessed with Bakula. She loves QL and Ent a *beep*, and even watches his *beep* movies, just to see him. So I hear about them, and have watched some.

I saw some of this movie! They showed it on TV at one point... I think two of my brothers watched the whole thing, but I left and came online instead,

Yes Scott Bakula is Excellent as Captain archer. I don't think there would be anyone better suited for that role than him
I also like him in quantum leap but i dunno he just seems to look better in enterprise. I don't know why though

Quantum Leap is coming back with a movie I think.
Scott Bakula was the perfect Captain without him the show would have been cancelled by now.
