I live in the Netherlands, Province 'Zuid-Holland', if you'd translate it, it would be South-Holland, but it's actually not really the south of Holland.
More like West
I live in a village called Boskoop, which is approximatly 20 km above Rotterdam.
Small town, you can't do anything. We have like 2 caf's, 3 supermarkets, 1 little street with shops and that's about it.. So I prefere to go shopping in Rotterdam, The Hague or Utrecht

South-Holland is South of North-Holland. its the only parts of the Nethelands that are, uhm....Holland. At first, that was whole Holland. Later those other provinces joined.

Yes. Our history is silly. Espacially my history, seeing I come from Zeeland, English: Zealand. Think about New Zealand.

K, that was kinda messy...

You were speaking of Zeeland, Netherlands. Not New Zealand. Correct?

the name for New Zealand came from Zeeland, a province in The Netherlands. Because the dutch discovered it, just like australia and tasmania.

Yah, STV is basically the only way I learn about anything else going on outside the US. Silly US media being all stupid and messed up. Quite the burden for all you non-americans!

I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota - usa.

I had a friend that i met online from Germany come and visit me for 10 days this past June. It was an absolute blast!! She had never been to the US before and we had only known eachother for less than a year from meeting in a lord of the rings website randomly online! It was pretty cool. English was a 2nd language she learned in school, so sometimes i'd have to slow down and repeat or reword what i said to her, but very seldom! It was an incredible learning experience i must say! It was so weird like all the food that we concider to be everyday normal food - she had never had before! Some things such as, bagels, burgers on the grill, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese, sloppy joes, popcorn w/ salt and butter, peanut butter and jelly sandwishes, chicken fingers... it was just nuts i tell ya!! The one thing she misses like crazy though now are Mochas and Bagels - we had bagels just about every morning for breakfast! She wants me to mail her some for christmas! Haha!
