PostFri Nov 12, 2004 2:16 pm    Star Trek: Adventurer-X2 (PLEASE LOCK)

This is a new version of a story involving my new RPG. Have requested for the Journal one to be locked cause it made no sense, but this one may make a little more sense; although, it picks up where we left off on the RPG. lol.

Chapter One:

Captain James Remus entered the bridge the next morning and looked around while making his way to the Captains Chair. Today, he noticed that the bridge seemed more quiet than usualprobably because of Admiral Skenandores early departure the
previous day.

Report! exclaimed James.

All systems are fully operational sir, replied Lieutenant (JG) Benjamin Thornberry, the Chief Helmsman. All scans read negative, but the lieutenant is skeptical.

Is this true Mr. Franklin? asked James.

Aye sir, replied Lieutenant Tidus Franklin, the Chief Security/Tactical Officer. The area appears quiet by scans, but I feel that if we travel further into the Expanse as we were told to, we may discover more.

Well, Ill trust this feeling of yours for nowonly because this is our mission and the admiral would order us to carry it out. Ben, resume course, full impulse.

Aye sir, answered Ben.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Curt entered his office and immediately began working. Just then, Commodore Jones of Starfleet Tactical entered his office.

Sir, said Jones. May I have a word?

Indeed you may, answered Curt. Have a seat.

Thank you. Sir, we have a severe situation on our hands. Remember when I told you about the Romulans?

Yesdont tell me they are on their way here.

No sir, not the Romulansthe Hirogen.

What? Why?

The Romulans passed the information of your being on Adventurer-X2 to them and they too thought that was ridiculous; therefore, they organized a plan to kidnap you and return you to Earth with a ransominstead, you returned on your own will and that threw them a wrench. So, they have teamed with an old enemy to attack our home world as collateral.

Who are these old enemies commodore?

Commodore?

Itsthe Xindii sir, and some remaining Borgs from Voyagers assault.

TheXindii? But why? Theyve left us alone for all these years and now they want to attack us again, probably for what Enterprise NX-01 did to some of their kind years ago?

Rally as many ships as possible commodore, Ill see what our options are and see what I can do.

Aye sir, replied Commodore Jones, he then got up and left the office.

Curt immediately returned to his work, now trying to get the majority of it done, while still thinking of what to do with the new Hirogen/Xindii unification problem; and their new plot to attempt to destroy Earthtogether.

Chapter Two will be on the way shortly. I am writing this in my Microsoft Word first, this way I don't have to just think of it off the top of my head and so it should seem better .

Chapter Two:

Several minutes later, Curt finished most of the work and tapped his computer screen on his desk.

=^= Earth to Adventurer-X2. Captain Remus, I order you to abort your current mission and return the Adventurer-X2 to Earth. We are about to face a heavy combined alien attack from the Hirogen and Xindii. They are plotting to destroy our planet. I repeat, I order you (and any other ships in the vicinity) to return to Earth in order to protect her. Earth out. =^=
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You heard the admiral, said James. Alter course Mr. Thornberry, maximum warp to Earth!

Aye sir, replied Ben. The Adventurer-X2 engines roared to life once more and in a vertical flash of light, the starship was gone and on its way back to Earth.

Then, Captain Remus turned to where Chief MACO Officer Josh Thornberry should be and noticed him not there.

Wheres Lieutenant Colonel Thornberry? asked James. Scan this entire vessel until you find him and then inform him to meet me in my ready room. The bridge is yours Ms. Adams.

Captain Remus then got up from his chair and headed for his ready room, joined shortly after, by Lieutenant Colonel Josh Thornberry.

You wanted to see me sir? asked Josh.

Indeed I did. I want you to get your MACO team ready, we may end up boarding some of the vessels that we disable in order to protect Earth, and I want your team to go with the boarding party since you have the most military-like experience. Are we clear?

Crystal clear captain.

Good, then youre dismissed.

Josh then left the room and Captain Remus leaned back in his ready room chair looking out the window and thinking

I sure do hope we can get back to Earth before too much damage is done.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How much longer until we reach Earth?! demanded the Hirogen Commander.

Approximately thirteen minutes and counting sir, replied the helmsman. Our Xindii allies are in close pursuit and will arrive a few minutes after we docarrying a new super weapon.

Excellent, contact the Xindii Commander and have them prepare the weapon. The fleet and the rest of us will distract the federation on-slaught in order for him to get a free shot at Earth.

The Hirogen and Xindii vessels were in close pursuit of each other, and they too had their own fleet, closing on Earthif this mission was a success for them, it could be the end of the Earth, and the beginning of a new war; now between the Federation/Hirogen/ & Xindii.

Sorry if this Chapter doesn't make a ton of sense, I did the best I could with it...suggestions would be appreciated .

Alright, I guess this one was no good either lol. In my honest opinion it wasn't quite right anyhow; therefore, would the mod of this section please also lock this story and remove it if you can).
