| Quote: | SAN DIEGO -- A woman robbed $3,000 from a Poway credit union and asked for directions to another credit union in Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego County sheriff's officials said Wednesday.
The woman walked into the Great American Credit Union branch at 14969 Pomerado Road at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and slipped a demand note that also asked for the address of San Diego County Credit Union, Lt. Hope Andrews said.
The woman fled with $3,000 in cash, she said.
Authorities notified officials at the other credit union that the robber wanted directions to their location, but no robbery took place there, authorities said.

It would have been ten times better if she went to the other branch, then they could have caught her. Maybe she did something REALLY smart, divert the attention away from where she was escaping...

The bank teller should have give her the direction to the police station instead. So she goes straight to jail...
