I was waiting for someone other than me to make this thread, I didnt want to seem to much like an episode hog or anything!
Cold Station 12 was an average episode. I am a little surprised that Enterprise so early in the fourth season would start a three part episode, they did just complete a two part episode with Strom Front, having only Home in between the set series of episodes, Cold Station 12 was the episode that would determine if the entire Augment storyline would be of any worth. So far having seen both Borderland and Cold Station 12, the plot line has been more than a ratings grabber with Brent Spiner but also a great idea. In Deep Space Nine they had talked about genetic manipulation though Doctor Bashir, but I dont believe they showed any of it in TOS. With this plot line it gives Enterprise the clever ability to forget about the eugenics war (It is already in the shows past so the directors wont have to worry about it in the future). I would however like to see some type of flash back in next week episode with Soong, but the chances of that are very slim.
One thing I really hated about Cold Station 12 was the fact that Archer and Enterprise Knew already where Soong was planning on going. If I were in Soongs place and I wanted to free all of the other 300 Augments I would not have told Archer, yet with some strange fact Soong did tell archer, giving him the exact location of his next attack.
There seems to be some type of conflict developing between Soong and Malik. Malik wants the Augments to be lead by Augments, thinking that he would be the rightful leader. IN Borderland If I am not mistake Malik only took command because his brother was leading away from his fathers teachings but this week we can see that Malik himself is trying to push away Soong only to gain the power in his hands and not that of his fathers. Malik is only power hungry which is going to affect the augments in some time no matter what. When Archer and the entire crew were aboard C12, you could see Malik and Soong fighting about the human doctor (They were trying to get the codes to get the other Augments set free. I wont say anymore b/c I do not want to give away the episode for anyone who has yet to watch it.). Meeting Dr. Phloxs email pen pal was something special and something that I did not expect. Again I try to stay away from all spoilers soi that I can endure the entire pleasure of the episode. I suggest that you all do the same. Adding in an Augment that did not have all the powers of the others was another interesting plot line twist; I would have kept him around until the 3rd part of the series.
Overall Rating: 8.9
Defiant should have it on his website soon if you missed it.

Apparently, landing parties no longer need to carry scanners around anymore.

Yeah, but I'll leave the reviewing up to you
I thought it was pretty good myself, I'd give it an 8.8

Well, it's not like they had much of a choice. Spiner demanded that part really; because, he said he wanted to try something new in the Trek world. I guess, this is what he had in mind for new.

This episode wasn't bad in my opinion although the battle scenes were short and seemed that Enterprise was far superior over the klingon bird of preys. I like the HUGE hints of Data in the end... quite funny yet ironic in a way.

I was very disappointed with how Archer got the holy hell beat out of him, then was all too happy to climb up a huge ladder in his weakened physical condition. He couldnt even stand up before, and then hes climbing ladders and whatnot? How unrealistic,
