It's all a matter of opinon.
Yes some stations are liberal, some are conservitive.
To people who are very conservitive, a lot more stations seem liberal.

There is a reason I try and listen to news and read news from as many different sources as possible.

Stations, Conservative! It is PROVEN that most stations ARE Liberal, and I don't just mean news stations, although ideology DOES come into play, however it is DEFINITE that CNN, CBS, and NBC are Liberal. The only decent show on any of those networks for non-Liberal shows is MSNBC's Scarborough Country. Matthews, who is MSNBC's main politics guy, is a self-admitted Liberal, and they are all very Liberal for the most part. Plus, most Hollywood people and TV people ARE Liberal, and that's a fact.

When you say 'self-admitted', to me it sounds like he confessed a crime. But does that man not have the right to have a political opinion? We all do. That he has an opinion of his own, doesn't necessarily mean that he also expresses this opinion in his work. He could very well be objective in his work for MSNBC.
I don't say he is (I don't know the guy), I only say his opinion wouldn't necessarily have to influence his work.

Oh, I know, and it's good that he admitted it, unlike Rather, Jennings, and Brokav (don't know the correct spelling). Either way, it DOES influence his work. During this election I haven't been able to watch the show because of it. My dad used to watch it every night and really liked him, but now he won't watch it. But anyways, let's get back on topic...
Kerry/Edwards. The wrong team for the wrong country at the wrong time.

I think that's illegal...But either way, I spent ALL DAY yesterday (well, 10:00 through 7:30) doing work for the Republicans, 2 1/2 hours on Saturday for them (a walk), 5 hours on Friday (calls), 6 hours on Wednesday, and 3 hours two Tuesdays ago. I've been VERY INVOLVED!

Why is it that everyone who is against Kerry is quick to call him a flip-flopper? In case people haven't noticed, Bush has flip-flopped on several occasions too, does this make him any better than Kerry?

I agree. What happened to bin Laden? And why are we in Iraq? Two very very big questions that the Bush administration has failed to answer.
And RM, it isn't illegal. It is illegal for me to vote, drink alcohol, drive without an adult, smoke, and sign my own papers. But I can volunteer for causes I believe in.

Bush hasn't flip flopped as much as Kerry and not on such big issues.
What happened to Bin Laden? Why are we in Iraq? Stupid questions that have been answered multiple times by the Bush Administration. You just want to pertend they haven't. Go on pertending that...

I just wanted to say that Kerry's speech in which he conceeded was superb. It was the first time that I actually felt that he really cared about America. I think he gained alot of people's respect in that speech because he certainly gained mine. If he would have just talked like that during the campaign he might have actually won the election, it gave you a sense that he actually was a nice guy and was someone you wouldn't mind chatting with or something. I don't know...just thought it was really good .

I thnk he meant the statement about handing out stuff for Kerry at the polls. You're not supposed to participate in campaign activity within certain proximity to the polls, or something or other...don't jump me on that if it's not quite right, but it's something to that effect.

All I had were Kerry stickers (Republicans and Democrats alike had stickers) and a sample Democratic ballot, Republicans had sample Republican ballots as well. Plus we were 40ft away from the polling place like we had to be. And there was a cop car circling the polling place every now and then. If we were doing anything illegal, I'm sure he would have informed us.
Founder: I honestly haven't heard a decent explination as to why we are in Iraq (without an exit strategy) and not hunting bin Ladin from this administration. If you have, please feel free to enlighten me.

As a progressive in my TaeKwonDo class who voted for Nader said, I respect him for that, but for nothing else.

Yes, that's EXACTLY what I meant.
Well, Trekkie, if your 40 feet away like the rules are, then fine.

Bush won, Kerry lost, and that's great for me, my party, him, you, me, America, and the World. But now I think it's about time we closed this topic.
