Thanks for sharing that. I am familiar with the guy, he wrestled initially in WCW as The Giant and came to the WWF in early 1999.
It should be interesting to see. Now all they need to do is get my man Hulk Hogan to guest star and I'll be happy.
Cheers for the photos.

I would love to see Hulk Hogan guest star on Star Trek, He has been in almost everything else. Big Show won the world title in his first match with the WCW if I am correct.

That's right. He won it at Halloween Havoc '95. He beat Hulk Hogan by DQ. It later transpired that Hogan's manager Jimmy Hart had power of attorney to sign Hogan's contract and had inserted a clause, stating that Hogan could lose the belt by DQ (all within the storyline of course, we know the wrestlers are just one big happy family really).
Ah, those were the days. Wrestling isn't the same anymore.

The show was Thunder In Paradise. Not too bad a show, but strictly "leave your brain behind" type of fare. It was pretty much a mix of Baywatch and the super-vehicle shows of the 80's. But it did have it's moments.

I was disappointed with Paul Wight's (Big Show) performance in Enterprise. Not that I was expecting much to begin with, but he just really came off as being a big dumb ape.

He was probably trying to keep both characters in tactic...his ENT and wrestling one. He kind of comes across as a big dumb ape on Smackdown too.

He's an Orion slaver. You expected him to be sofisticated and genteel?

Yeah but I don't know, he should've come off as more than an idiot, he at least should've seemed mean or cruel or something.

I don't think the role required him to be cruel. Just because you're running a slave-auction doesn't mean you have to be evil. It's just Orion culture.
He seemed to have fun with the role, though. Definately more interesting than the time The Rock guested on Voyager
