PostWed Oct 06, 2004 4:16 pm    Shark Tale

So many interesting movies coming out over the next few months, folks.

I'm looking forward to Shark Tale, an animated adventure from Dreamworks Animation. The tale concerns a young fish called Oscar, who is found at the scene of a crime, the crime being the murder of the son of a shark mob boss. And that's all I know about the film because I deliberately choose not to read detailed plot outlines.

I've been very impressed with several animated features over the last several years and I do not feel it is an overstatement to say some of them have been groundbreaking, such as Toy Story. There's been some other great ones such as Shrek and Finding Nemo. I hope Shark Tale lives up to my expectations.

Isn't there something beautiful about the seas and the oceans? To think that this world spends billions on space travel (which can be useful) yet our oceans are truly the final frontier, we haven't begun to scratch the surface yet. Anyway, I love underwater movies so I am sure I'll enjoy this one. Anyone else planning to see it?

He's not in the film. Only his voice is.

Good to see you, Vicky.

This movie should be coming out soon here in Belgium. I'd like to see it. I saw and really loved Findin Nemo; it was so funny and fun to watch.

Robert De Niro also plays a role I believe...

Looks like a Finding Nemo rip-off to me,
