There is alot of clubs available to people to participate in throughout college and high school, so I figured everyone could share what clubs they are in!
I joined the Ultimate Frisbee and Rugby clubs at club sign ups. Also, im starting a Star Trek club!

Weekly on Saturday, watching Enterprise on the big TV. (They come out on Sunday here)
Maybe watching trek movies on the big TV sometimes.
Maybe star trek discussions or just hanging out, I dunno...Random episode watching?

Until there are more people willing to join, there wont be that much to do. Mostly the Enterprise watching.

I am in my school's Speech and Debate Club at last. Each speech I've given I've gotten an award, as well as at the Congress. (These are for over 20 schools in the area)
1) First time ever: Excellent Award (Least best OF TWO)
2) 2nd time: Superior (best) (1 & 2 w/ that Kerry speech I posted)
3) 3rd time: Superior. This time I made MAJOR revisions (deleted and added many things), and only 45 minutes before I had to go. I only practiced it 3 times, yet I still won!
4) Also, even though I failed miserably on my bill for More Protection on the Borders (flaws in the bill, didn't have enough time to speak, wasn't able to defend my sources--that's why), I got one of the 5 Superior Speaker awards for my house!

I don't think so. I thought that this was a discussion about all clubs, hence the title, and that Defiant's was just the opening thing.
I was talking about a club. It's great!

Err...ok!
I found the demcrat club here! Its small, silly republicans. This is the most conservative campus in Oregon, its horrible to be Liberal here! Random *beep* tear down my Kerry bumper stickers I put on my door. So I got like 100 of them, and keep replacing them. Bastards!

Heh. I got my ballot in the mail. Apparently there is a group registering people to vote, who was throwing away democratic registrators cards. And one of them visited our campus! They cant prove it though, which is sad. So alot of people havent got their ballots yet, and have to go complain to the county clerks office.

I thought about starting up a Star Trek Club once. It was going to be a free club. It was going to be pretty informal. Just a meet in the local pub once a week and a movie/TV viewing at other times. But no-one seemed interested.

Right now i'm on the bowling team, and I would be on the basketball team too but I missed the tryouts, and i'm going to do baseball in the Spring. I'm also thinking of starting a rock band for my school.

It's a winter sport here too, but they hold the tryouts in October for some reason and then wait a month or so before the matches and stuff start. My average is around 200 so I made the varsity team pretty easy, but I still wish I had remembered to go to the basketball tryouts too.

I was captain of the chess team in high school! I ruled at it. No decent chess club here though.
Theyre giving me $300 just for starting the club! I get to spend it on anything to promote the club! That means, im buying trek seasons on DVD!!!

Cool.
Yeah, bowling is a winter sport, but tryouts are earlier. I don't really do clubs, hmmmm.
