Prologue:

Our story begins thirteen years after the U.S.S. Voyager returns home and it takes place under a new galaxy-class vessel called the U.S.S. Columbia NCC-1704-C, commanded by Captain Kyle Jenkins.

One day, in the middle of a harsh battle with the Hirogen, Captain Jenkins and his crew sustained heavy damage and before they knew it...everything became blurry, the viewscreen showed only static, and something strange was happening to the Columbia-C.

A few hours later, the ship returned to normal, the viewscreen became clear again, and everyone was accounted for, one thing was out of place though...

"Captain Jenkins," said Lieutenant Amanda Jones. "You may want to come and take a look at this sir."

Captain Jenkins then got up from his command chair and walked over to the tactical station, shocked by what he saw...

"This has to be wrong lieutenant," said the captain. "These readings match the Enterprise NX-01 from years ago."

"No sir," replied Jones. "All systems are operating appropriately, we've somehow traveled in time."

Suddenly, a series of beeps was coming from the communications station.

"What is it ensign?" asked Captain Jenkins.

"It's the Enterprise sir," answered Ensign Maxwell Smith. "She's hailing us."

There you go everyone, the prologue of my new story. Let me know what you all think of it and I'll post Chapter 1 as soon as I get more time.

Pretty good, One thing I would change would be the fact that it starts off in 3rd person. If you were to change that into the prologue then have chapter one start off with 1st person (Perhaps the communication between both captains).

Chapter One:

"On screen ensign," replied Captain Jenkins. just then, Captain Jonathan Archer appeared on the viewscreen. "Greetings there captain."

"Listen you," said Captain Archer. "I don't know who you are or why you have a Starfleet registered vessel, but what are your intentions."

"Hold on captain. I am Captain Kyle Jenkins of the U.S.S. Columbia NCC-1704-C and I work for Starfleet. You see, this vessel was made thirteen years after the U.S.S. Voyager returned home. We were ingaged in a battle with a hostile species and had sustained heavy damage as you can tell. However, when all was cleared up and what not, we somehow ended up here and have no idea how we got here."

"Well, your vessel does have Starfleet registration on it, even though it's not in our database. Listen Captain, perhaps you would like to go to Earth with me and meet with Admiral Forrest."

"Alright, I'll meet you down there captain. Columbia out."

Captain Jenkins then got up from his command chair, entered the turbolift, and was gone within a second...heading for the planets surface to meet Captain Archer.

Sorry this one was short, but I had a lot to do today. Hopefully chapter 2 will be a bit longer and more into it.

Chapter Two:

Captain Jenkins materialized on the planet Earth, just as Captain Archer and Ensign Mayweather had landed their shuttle pod. Captain Archer then emerged from the pod and finally met face to face with Captain Kyle Jenkins.

"Greetings again captain," said Archer.

"The same to you captain," replied Jenkins.

"Please, you can call me Jonathan."

"Alright, and you can call me Kyle."

"Alright then Kyle, shall we go then?"

"Lets."

Then Captain Archer turned to Ensign Mayweather and ordered him to take the shuttle pod back to the Enterprise, within seconds the ensign was gone and the two captains began walking to Starfleet Headquarters.

***
Several minutes later, Kyle and Jonathan arrived at Starfleet command and were waiting inside Admiral Forrest's office. Just then, Forrest appeared in the doorway of the room.

"Gentleman," he said, motioning for them to both have a seat. "So, Captain Jenkins. Jonathan tells me that you arrived here from the future, is that correct?"

"Yes admiral," answered Kyle.

"Was this by coincedence, or were you sent to our time to assist us in our mission of exploration? Because the technology aboard your vessel could greatly assist our cause and keep us out of danger."

"As much as I'd like for that to be the case admiral, we are here be accident. You see, back in our time, we were engaged in a heavy battle with a hostile species known as the Hirogen, you'll meet them in a few thousand years or so. Anyway, we sustained heavy dame in that battle and just as it seemed we were finished and about to be destroyed, everything went to a fuzy blue color, the viewscreen went to static, and all our systems went crazy. Within a few hours though, everything began to come back online, and the next thing we know...the Enterprise NX-01 is right in front of us, and we are still heavily damaged as you can tell."

"I see, and there's no way to adapt the technology aboard their vessel to fit ours Jonathan?"

"No sir," answered Captain Archer. "I had Trip look over their schematics time and time again, and so did Sub-Commander T'Pol. Nothing that we could find."

Suddenly, Captain Jenkins communicator began beeping.

=^= Columbia to Captain Jenkins. =^=

=^= Go ahead Columbia. =^=

=^= Sir, we have readings that an entire fleet of Klingon vessels is heading this way. Apparently they are accompanied by a race known as the Sulaban, and sir you won't believe this one...you know the Hirogen all the way in the Delta Quadrant? =^=

=^= Yeah...what about them Commander? =^=

=^= They are heading this way too, an entire fleet of them. Do you think they came here when we did? =^=

=^= It's possible. Anyways, prepare the ship for battle immediately. We can't take any chances. I'll beam up as soon as I am done talking to you. Jenkins out. =^=

Captain Jenkins then turned his communicator off and before Captain Archer or Admiral Forrest knew it, Kyle had dematerialized and rematerialzed on the bridge of the Columbia. He then sat in his command chair.

"Red alert," ordered Kyle. "Charge weapons, load torpedos, raises shields, and deploy armor. We can't take any chances, so load both quantum and photon torpedos into the torpedo bays. These Hirogen want a fight...they'll get a fight, no matter how damaged we are."

Chapter Three:

"ETA on those Hirogen Lt. Jones?" asked Kyle.

KABOOM! The Columbia shook as she was hit by a phaser shot.

"They've arrived sir," replied Amanda.

"Evasive manuevers ensign," demanded Kyle. "Pattern-Gamma 7"

"Aye sir," answered Ensign Jessica Parker, Helmswoman.

KABOOM-KABOOM-KABOOM! The Columbia again shoke, this time as she was hit by three torpedos.

"Sir!" exclaimed Amanda. "We've lost a portion of the armor covering C-Deck...shields are holding though."

"Good," replied Kyle. "Get a repair crew to C-Deck now, and put a forcefield around that hole. Ensign Smith, hail the Enterprise."

"No need to sir," replied Max. "Captain Archer is already hailing us."

"Audio only."

"Aye sir."

=^= Captain Jenkins, what is going on up there? Lt. Reed tells me that these Hirogen are heavily armed. We are on our way to assist. Enterprise out. =^=

Captain Jenkins took a sigh of relief as the Columbia shook from another phaser blast.

"Return fire!"

KABOOM! one Hirogen vessel was hit by a phaser shot from the Columbia when suddenly...KABOOM-KABOOM-KABOOM! Three torpedos hit the same vessel from behind, it was Captain Archer and the Enterprise NX-01.

"Finish that one off lieutenant...quantum torpedos."

"Aye sir."

Suddenly, two quantum torpedos flew out of the Columbia's torpedo bay straight to the Hirogen vessel...seconds later it was gone and only a cloud of debris remained. Suddenly, the remaining vessels broke off after they were attacked by the Columbia, Enterprise, and a Andorian fleet.

"The Andorian captain is hailing us sir," said Max.

"On screen."

=^= greetings to you captain. You aren't from this time are you? Nor are those aliens who attacked you. Are they? =^=

"No, they aren't captain. We do; however, thank you for your assistance...we will owe you one later on."

=^= Indeed you will captain...until we meet again. =^=

The viewscreen then went blank as the communication had ended. Then lit up again with Captain Archer's face.

=^= Listen captain, Admiral Forrest would like to hold a debriefing with you and your entire senior crew. Me and my crew will also be there. =^=

"Tell your admiral we will be down shortly, we have a few repairs to make and then we will all beam down."

=^= Listen Jenkins, I don't take orders well, that's why I give them. However, this message I will relay to the admiral. Archer out. =^=

The screen again went blank and the Columbia crew began to prepare for their debriefing and repair the ship in case of another Hirogen encounter.
