Well as I have heard from the Fox News Channel they will be making a sequel to the Terminator. Anyways Arnold Schwarzenneger will play a role but a short one. The movie will start filming next year. So I think it will come out in 2006

T4 Gears Up
A fourth Terminator movie is readying to begin production in 2005, but it's unclear whether franchise star and current California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his most famous role, Variety columnist Michael Fleming reported. John Brancato and Michael Ferris, who wrote the script for the last installment, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, have completed a draft of a T4 script, which was developed under the supervision of T3 director Jonathan Mostow, the trade paper reported.
Mario Kassar and Andy Vajna are returning as producers. Formal negotiations will open shortly for a deal that would bring Mostow on as T4's director, the trade paper reported.
Similarly, talks have begun with Schwarzenegger to return for an encore, but the likelihood is that it would be in a limited role, as the Austrian Oak is currently occupied with his duties as California's chief executive, Fleming reported. Sources told Fleming that the expectation is that T4 will break in a new Terminator model.
There is no word on whether T3 stars Nick Stahl or Claire Danes have been approached to return for the sequel. Neither is believed to have been signed to an option agreement, Fleming reported.

The only thing about this movie they can't have this movie end the war against the machines in one movie so I think more movies will come after or a series.

Terminator 4? Well, i'm not so sure if that is such a good idea.
I Mean every Terminator movie has been famous and good because of Arnold and a terminator movie without him? I don't think so.
And what would the movie be about then? Another terminator trying too kill john connor and a lower class robot defeat him/her? What will we have, the T-25 million?
Although, a movie about the war will be nice, but then it has too be about destroying the robots, which is very hard too do in a right way.

IMDB wrote: | The next installment of the Terminator series will hit cinema screens in 2005 - but reportedly without Arnold Schwarzenegger. Schwarzenegger recently ditched acting for politics by becoming governor of California and, according to sources, his part in Terminator 4 will be reduced to a cameo role, while a new robot takes the limelight. A draft of the screenplay has just been completed by Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines writers John Brancato and Michael Ferris. Sources say it is about what happens when the world's computer systems are infected by viruses. |

I've been a fan of the Terminator movies from the beginning. Terminator 2: Judgement Day is still my favorite. James Cameron did an excellent job directing that movie. Both director Cameron and Schwarzenegger where superb in the second movie.
I've seen the third movie and will most likely see the fourth (if there'll be another) however I'm worried.
I really hope the story will stick to the main idea of the Terminator movies and hope the makers don't only take money into account. Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger is getting old, too old to play the T-800. He was pushing it in the third movie.

Probably referring to how the Terminator cuts some of his skin off in all 3 movies. I see why people think it's gross but I personally can't see it as gross.

I hope this movie will focus on the war in the future, rather than a rehash of the same old same old "Bad guy comes back to kill Main Character, good guy comes back to protect Main Character, bad guy and good guy fight, good guy wins" that's happend in all three films. And really, if they base the movie in the future, they won't really need Arnold in it, since they could just have T-800 EndoSkeletons marchign around. But if they plan to rehash the plot of the first three films again, I think a good actor to play a new Terminator (good or bad) would be... The Rock. I know, he's not a superb actor, and most of his movies suck, but he's got the build, he's got starpower, and the film companies seem to be grooming him to become the next big action star. With a properly written terminator character, I think The Rock could pull it off.

The Rock is a good choice, I think he has done a good job so far. His characters in movies are very likeable and he has the X-Factor to pull it off.
Like Siege, I don't want to see a rehash of "Bad guy coming back in time to kill character, good guy coming back in time to protect character". As reasonable a film as T3 was, it was a rehash of T2. We need a new plot.
