Depends on how many you've seen. The first two, three episodes were baaad. 'Bug-like' aliens and such.

But after those episodes it became a really good series!

I've seen the first two seasons. Sorry, but I just couldn't get into it. Individually, the actors played their roles well but I don't think the team had any chemistry at all.

The best thing about the majority of shows is the camaraderie, which you saw in things such as the original Mission:Impossible, The A-Team, Star Trek and many others. However, modern shows such as CSI:Miami and Andromeda don't have that camaraderie.

However, I am just one person, one opinion. Good luck with your campaign. I'd advise a letter-writing campaign if you can get enough people. Writing a letter, IMO, carries more weight and shows more interest than a quick e-mail. Letter-writing campaigns have saved shows in the past such as Star Trek and Cagney & Lacey.

So good luck!

The main actor did good in his role as Hercules, but he is not really a good actor.

I don't think camaraderie is the problem, they are just series that are too much of the same thing.

what's with the campaign? it's NOT in any danger of being cancelled, nor was it ever. the problem with having a not-needed campaign is that when one is really needed for a show, it's not taken seriously.

1. It IS in danger of cancellation, go read some websites about Andromeda, you'll see.
2. Forgot to mention it's not *my* campaign, I just posted the link here but I'm not it's creator.

Yeah it's okay. I've seen a couple of episodes (the ones with Michael Shanks, because mum loves him) and I thought they were pretty cool.

The Slipstream forum

Nah that would just be stuff thats listed on google. You have to spend them a special letter trying to convince google to add your site to the search engine.

I've have just been watching andromeda actually, cuz i got the 1.3 DVD from america. i watched the first 2 episodes but it was ashame cuz it was in black and white for some reason

Maybe the wrong region code? (America has code 1, Europe code 2)
The DVD's are rather expensive btw, $61 for one season!

I just started watching Andromeda once and awhile now that Space shows it. Although it is a good show, I don't think it's truly exceptional, a lot of the plots are repetitive, and the crew chemistry as someone mentioned, is not that well thought out.

So I like the show, I'm grateful because Space puts it on at 6 PM when there usually isn't anything to watch, but if I've got something else to do, I don't really care if I miss one or two episodes, I'm not going to follow it in-depth.

My mistake. The real cause is probably the tv system. Europe uses PAL, America uses NTSC. But most dvd-players have an option "display NTSC dvd on PAL tv", try that.
