Yet we see Worf on the Enterprise in Nemesis with no explanation at all. Why is he there if he is the ambassador to the Klingons?

I put this here because this is about Worf's last job om DS9 and why he isn't part of it.

Hmm, well I could not see a problem with nemesis, it was insurrection I thought was strange. First contact was pretty explainable, because he was transported aboard. Nemesis, well he could have rejoined the enterprise after the dominion war. But insurrection, he should have been posted to ds9/defiant at the time.

I thought they explained it or gave a reason in Insurrection. In Nemesis he was just there....

There are several possible explanations. None has yet been firmly established, either on-screen or in print (unless there's something in the Nemesis novelization).

One: Worf wasn't actually returning to his old post full-time. He was just visiting for the wedding, had some free time, and decided to tag along. If he never left Starfleet officially, then he's well within his rights to wear the SF uniform.

Two: Worf got fed up with diplomacy, and eventually transferred back Federation-side. The books seem to be heading this direction.....although Nemesis is still almost two years ahead of the majority of Ambassador Worf novels, so a lot can happen in that time.

Hey Lindley

Dunno about your number one. What happens to the tatical officer when Worf visits for the wedding. Does he just give up his position for Worf during his visit...

I think that is it probally more likely that he requested a transfer to the e-e, for whatever reason, some time between the end of ds9 and nemesis.

Wasn't it because he was there for the wedding?

Only thing I didn't understand about First Contact...He's beamed aboard so he's technically a visitor onboard right? Yet when auto destruct is initiated he has to enter his command code to fully authorise it?

His old command codes may still be in it. Or maybe anyone with a high rank can do that on any ship?

That's not a very good way to run an organization.

Hopefully there's no more NG movies so that they can randomly insert Worf's character.

I'd think that there would be like a master code for any ship and secure areas that anyone in the federation above a certain rank would be privilidge to.

You did a spoiler tag, but then said the exact same thing later. LOL.

In Nemisis worf was there for the wedding, remember how they were on the way to the one on betazed when they got called to romulus? worf and crew probly figured it would only make sense for worf to catch a ride to betazed with them

Hey, Worf shows up and then he fights like he's got nothing to lose. C'mon, give the Klingon (Black Man) a break.

The only reason why they keep moving Worf around in Star Trek is because they want to approach each and every angle in his character to achieve the highest rating with him that is possible. He is after all one of the largest fan favorites on both The Next Generations and Deep Space Nine. If I was in charge of Star Trek, I would not over use him as much as they have done already with him. I would have kept him on DS( and TNG but to have him back in Nemesis was a little kooky.

I believe that it is very possible we will... well, maybe not TNG, but definately Star Trek. Brannon says that they are working on something in the Movie department. Hopefully it is Voyager related!

Yo, man, chill, who cares! As long as worf's in it! I mean, it wouldn't be the same without him!
