PostThu Oct 07, 2004 9:31 pm    Halloween Costumes!

What're you gunna be for halloween?! Post pics!

I'm gunna be an elf. I bought some ears today and I'm going to order a dress online 'coz it's better than the one I found in the store. Here's a pic of the dress I'm going to order!

And here are my ears! I just finished putting make-up on them.

I'm not going to be anything. However, this year I've decided that I will try to go around wearing Bush/Cheney stuff and try to use Halloween to my advantage --to push for the Right candidates!

no offense intended but it gets kind of annoying when you have to use halloween for political gains ..... just sad

^Bah. I say more power to 'im.

I'm probably going to be Klingon...more than likely. Unless I don't go anywhere Halloween night, which is also very likely.

I will most probably be nothing at all I probably won't even know that it is Halloween, and quite frankly, I'm glad about that. Halloween is almost as silly as Valentines(but Valentines is sillier, defenitely)

What we used to do, was put our shoes on our knees and pretend to be midgets. Or put someone's head under my arm.

We didn't take it very seriously.

I don't see the point in halloween at all. I live in Australia where we don't celebrate the event at all.

I think one of my friends wants us to have a party or something, but I never usually do anything... least of all dressing up, I don't plan on doing anything special this year.

Halloween, heh. I'm probably not even going to leave my house unless one of my friends decided to throw a party.

OOOOHHHH!!!! I HAVE ELF EARS!!!! I'm wearing them right now! I was at this festival and i got all my mates to buy stuff off this guy's stall and he gave them to me for freeeeeeeeee
So, here are my options:
- Elf (I have the ears and boots)
- Vulcan (I have the ears)
- TNG crew member (got a pattern for the costume)
- Stargate SG1 person (got loads of military clothes and a stargate patch)
- Arachnia (I bought this dress with cobwebs)
- a Japanese waitress (I found a kimono the other day)

I think the last time I actually dressed up for Halloween was when I was four. It actually annoys me, I hate having to answer the door, etc. And it usually seems to rain, and it's really cold when you're outside. I hated it when I was four, and I still do, bah. Going to a few parties this year, though.

Pfft I'm being Original so I'm going as Abu Hamza (just need to buy the beard and a Hook hand as I have the rest at home) and friend Mozza might be going as a Hamas Soldier along with me.

Yeah, see... some people like Haloween because it's fun. At that's all it's supposed to be in it's hallmark-holiday-ness... fun. I don't think people should think it's cheesy or whatever.

I don't know what I'm going to be. Usually I decide about 2 days beforehand and then go to Goodwill to scrounge up a costume. When I was little, I was always Oliver Twist or Huckleberry Finn because I thought it was cool to be an orphan. Ha!

Maybe I'll just be a cowboy this year or something. If we have a party... which... we should.

We don't really celebrate Halloween in New Zealand. It's more of an American tradition. But if we did celebrate Halloween I think I would wear a costume that looked like . . . a comm badge

I'm gonna dress up as a witch. I'll just put on my temple robes and sit on my porch with the candy bowl, and scare kids when they go take the candy.
