Tsss, Kevin's reaction when I told him we keep the house around 60-65:

That's like the perfect temp, I'd consider anything in the 20's as being cold. Single digits and teens, even colder, As long as there is no wind, even that's not too bad.
Hot? That would be in the upper 80's.

Well it issss. Gosh, I don't think the AC at our school even go that low and it is freezing! The upstairs is at about 79 right now which is just perfect IMO . Outside the perfect temperature is about 70's. 40's-60's is almost cold, and anything below 40 is cold.
Hot is anything above 95 . Crazy northerners....

Hot 75 and above
Warm 65-74
Nice 55-64
Cool 32-54
Cold 32 and below
I like the cold, escpecially when I sleep. It slows down your heart rate, and you fall into a much more relaxed, much deeper sleep. I've been known to open my windows on sub-zero nights, and the warm shower in the morning is like liquid bliss.

Anything above 70/75 is getting hot for me. I like it between 50 and 70. It doesn't start getting really cold until it gets below 38. I like to freeze.

Okay these are for me, if there is very low humidity. I hate humidity. And no wind.
Hot - 25+
Warm - 20
Chilly - 15 - 19
Cold - 10 - 15
Too Cold - 5 - 10
FREEEEZING! - 5-
You have to remember that this is Celcius not Farenheit(sp?)

^ I guessed that I don't know how to translate it to farenheit though so it doesn't say anything to me
I'd say the perfect inside temp is 73-ish. Outside around 60-65 so it's slightly cool. If it's over 77 outside it's warm to me, and over 80 or so it's warm/hot, over 85 hot, and over 90 really hot. Over 100 is stay inside and crank up the A/C or run as fast as you can without getting heat stroke to the pool and dive in hot
Below 60 is cool, below 50 is cool/cold andbelow 40 is cold below 32 is freeze your butt off cold

From degrees Celcius (C) to degrees Farenheit (F).
F = 9/5 x C + 32
From degrees Farenheit (F) to degrees Celcius (C).
C = (F - 32) x 5/9
It's been proven that the best temperature to sleep for babies is 18C (64.4F). At this temperature and normal humidity, the immune system works at peak performance.
I like to sleep in rather cold environments, around 20C (68F). However, I like warm days a lot, around 30C (86F).

Are you sure that That is right? There are three variables in that equation, F,C and X
What would be placed there to solve an equation?

First off, if I am correct, then the "X" you are seeing in the second one is nothing more than the multiplication sign. Secondly, you will already have one of the variables known to you, since you will have the temperature in Celsius or Farenheit. That leaves you with one unknown, so all you have to do is plug in what you have, then solve for the variable.
Example:
-------------------
Code: | Your thermometer outside says it is 77 degrees and you want to tell Oliver way over there in Europe the degrees in Celsius.
Let:
C= temperature in degrees celsius
F= temperature in degrees fahrenheit
If:
C= (F - 32) x 5/9
C= (77 - 32) x 5/9
C= (45) x 5/9
C= 45 x 5/9
C= 25 <-----Answer
Then: 77 degrees fahrenheit is equal to 25 degrees celsius. |
-------------------
Hopefully that helps.
(I sooooo need to get over this cold and go back to school )

depends on the season. Usually I'm comfortable in 50-75. Anything higher is hot. Near the 100s is definately stay inside and try to stay cool. Below 50 is usually cold for me.

AHH 70! Celsius? or did you all just forgot to put a F after?
I like it cold... if I were to choose between too cold or too hot, then I'd chose too cold. But if it's nice and "lagom" warm, then I'd chose "hot".
But the wind is really the meany when it comes to temprature. I don't care that much about temperature as long as it isn't windy!

lower/-11 Degrees Celcius is unacceptable, -10/-1 is too cold but do able, 0/9 is cold, 10/19 is moderate, 20/24 is good, 25/29 is warm and 30/above is hot.
I'm from the Coast of the Netherlands.
By the way, people who say they prefer cold are just wrong. Preferably for everybody warm is best because we are warm blooded creatures we don't have too work to make our bodies warm in warm climates, when it cold we have do. Thats why we all prefer warm, even if you love the coldness.
