Quote: | Emmy nominee Matt LeBlanc reprises his Friends role as charming Joey Tribbiani in this comedy spin-off that continues the beloved Friends tradition. Joey, an aspiring actor, is off to Los Angeles to pursue his dream and begin a new chapter in his life. In this new town he's sure to face new challenges, both professional and personal. After reuniting with his sister, Gina, Joey moves in with his 20-year-old genius nephew, Michael, who is literally a rocket scientist. What Joey lacks in book smarts, however, he makes up for with people smarts, making him the best new friend his nephew could ask for. |

Quote: | Thursdays on NBC (8-8:30 p.m. ET); Premieres, Thursday, September 9 on NBC (8-8:30 p.m. ET)
From three of the executive producers behind the mega-successful hit series "Friends" comes the highly anticipated new comedy "Joey." Multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award nominee Matt LeBlanc reprises his "Friends" role as charming and still-single Joey, who has struck out on his own and moved to Hollywood, hoping to truly make it as an actor.
Joey says goodbye to a time when his friends were his family and welcomes the chance to turn his family into his friends. After reuniting with his high-strung sister Gina (Drea de Matteo - "The Sopranos"), a strong and sexy hairdresser, Joey moves in with her genius 20-year-old son, graduate student Michael (Paulo Costanzo, "Road Trip"), who literally is a rocket scientist. What Joey lacks in book smarts, however, he more than makes up for with his people skills, making him the best new friend his nephew could ask for.
From Bright-San Productions and Silver and Gold Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc., "Joey" is executive-produced by Kevin S. Bright, Scott Silveri and Shana Goldberg-Meehan. The pilot was written by Goldberg-Meehan and Silveri and directed by Bright. |

I'm really looking forward to Joey. He was one of my favourites out of Friends (tied with Phoebe - Smelly Cat, loved that song).

The commercials were a whole lot funnier then the actual show. I watched the first ep and about half the second, but it just wasn't funny, and I haven't watched it since,

I guess they should've saved some of it for the show,

I managed to keep myself away from all of the spoilers, It was really funny if you didn't see all of the scenes already.

Joey is da bomb. I've never really been that excited about any other TV show in the longest time.. Well leaving out Passions (soap opera) that is.
Its nice to see Joey with a family now, because he was the only one who didn't have one when he was on Friends. Which sums the point of the new tv show. Joey is a great show, and I've watched every eppisode since it started except for one, but I went to the carnival that was in town and only comes once a year. Can't wait til next thursday.

I've watched every episode but one, the third one, but thats because i forgot about it.... I love the show but he did have a familiy in Friends. In the early seasons they showed his Italy familly a few times (And brought his grandmother there in a certain episode).
