ya your right, one of the reasons that the borg is so strong is because they "cooperate" and function as one being.

so if you disrupt the hive mind you would bring chaos, and if you dirupted them for long enough they would be to co-operative

a contagion (sp) I think

A pathogen, something like a virus. And that sort of thing is clearly the best weapon against the Borg. Species 1113(or sumtin) used it too, they easily destroyed a Cube with it. So We are the Pathogen. Existance as you know it is over. Good night.

Actually, the Borg's defensive systems are pretty weak. So a simple viruse would destroy them. But the tricky part is how to get it in.

a simple virus wouldn't stand a chance against the nanoprobes.

Besides, the pathogen that the borg queen got fdrom the future janeway killed the borg queen and disrupted the hive mind. That would have made chaos, but the pathogen tself didn't kill any drones or anything. They will Adapt.

a neurolitic pathogen (if i'm writing it correct..) I think it was.. That's what Janeway said in 'Endgame' :
Janeway: 'most be something you assimilated'
Borg-Queen: 'you infected us with a neurolitic pathogen'
Janeway: 'just enough to bring chaos into order..'

Exactly. And they'd have to disguise themselves, so they look just like nanoprobes so the real nanoprobes wouldn't detect them. Like the doctor did in Scorpion, to cure Kim..
