Even though the camera shot was cool, I don't think I can survive one whole week without knowing what happened.

By the official Stagate Atlantis website it says that "Home" should be episode 8 and "Underground" as episode 9 , but I'm quite sure that these episodes aired the other way around.
Can anyone else confirm this?

I can confirm it! I was there! I thought the Movie Network (that's who airs it in Canada) was doing something weird and insidiously evil with their scheduling. Now I just know that MGM sold out its website as well.

You won't find out until January. You realize that, right? That's why this was the summer finale.

What?? I thought maybe it would start up again in October or something but January??? How could they do that? That is a fate worse than death. I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG! Okay, just need to catch my breath. Oh heavenly days. January? That's saddistic.

Well actors need breaks they cant make non-stop episodes that just wouldnt be right.

I think they are trying to finish season 2 before January when they aire it so it will be much because they can aire more new episodes every week.

They do summer finales,

Usually the space between the end of a season and the new one is about 2 weeks, I think. I think there's an ep inbetween, at least... Don't really remember,

I know for a fact that SG1 has done the two half-season format ever since the move to Scifi; I'm told that's how its been done ever season SG1's second season.

They do half the episodes (10, in this case; in past years its been 11) in the summer, then the other half in the winter.

The advantage is that there's not many reruns to interrupt a stretch of new episodes like there is with other series, such as ENT.

Episode 10 this year, since the total number of eps for the season has been reduced to 20 for budgetary reasons.

Although really its the ninth ep aired, since the premeir was a 2-hour ep.

Please join this SG-RPG forum, I can count all of the members on one hand, if fact at the time of posting this there are only four members. Oh, and please let them know that it was Solitary Poet who sent you!

Its kind of funny cos stargate and atlantis always start half way before it does in the UK, so when it starts in the UK, it stops midway in the US,

It doesnt stop for us, it continue's on but it does stop for a few weeks over christmas but thats it.
