Good question. I'm betting that they have the capability for it, but they're too powerful to bother using it.

Just because you're unstoppable doesn't mean you have a cloaking device. Klingons have it and they aren't unstoppable. Im sure the Borg assimilated someone with knowledge of a cloaking device. But as others said the Borg don't really need it. Thet Borg should work at finding a way to fire while in cloak. If the Klingons did then they should be able to.

The Cloak from Nemesis? Would it be that much of a difference? You would still have to decloak to beam down to the planet and assimilate people. Although it would take Starfleet longer to respond but still.....

Why the heck would such a technologically superior race want to hide itself??

The Borg are the second superior race and therefor do not need a cloaking device.

They don't care about losses, if it takes more damge too kill a couple of drones then they will. Its not the drones who are in control. Always remember that.

Besides, loosing a couple of million drones isn't really defestating for the borg, they are in the hundereds of billions.

The Borg are power hungry. They think that They can take out anyone, no matter who it is. They might think that cloaks make them weak, but I am sure that they have the technology from all of the races that they have taken over.

They may just feel that the use of cloak is irrelivant being as the "outcome" is inevitble, they will assimilate who and what they are after, why hid when theres nothing to do about it?

When? Perhaps if the borg cube that launched an attck on earth the first time would have used a cloaking device they might have reached earth yes, but they never thought they had too be that fast too reach earth. I mean, why sneak past the defenses when you can just simply destroy them and assimilate the fleet? Even after 3 tries they thought they could assimilate the Alpha Quadrant without much trouble, they where wrong 3 times. But they never thought of using a cloaking device, because being seen before they reach destination (earth) was never the problem, the problem was Picard, they even assimilated him but that worked out even worse than their invasion. So there you have it, using a lcoaking device would simply be, useless.

They can assimilate the alpha Quadrant without it, can they?

I would have to say that the Borg don't have cloaking devices because they want to be seen by their enemy- they want to show off their power and "Perfections." And, I would say that they figure they are too powerful and perfect to need cloaks.
