Just a memento. They're insanely expensive, though. I think I'll just get one senior year, and not bother with junior.

You have got to be kidding! I'd understand if it was a wedding ring (those are allowed to cost a lot, even more) but a school ring!?!?

I'd go with blue.

And 189 dollars is on the low end of the class ring scale, which is why I just might not bother at all. They go all the way up into the thousand dollar range.

^ I'm sure your parents could manage it,

I don't think I would, though, But yeah, blue seems nice if you really want to get one.

Because you're depressed and feeling less spoiled lately? I'm sure you could invent something to make them open their wallets.

I mean... rings are cool?

I thought so.

Yes, so, a ring would be a good souvenir if you have the money to pay for it. Otherwise...

Theyre nice to have and all. I wear mine only when I feel like showing off. And see, I dont care about price. My g-ma paid.

Yah, the class rings start at $70 for the no choice put your name on it and thats it ring. Mine is the cheapest with the choice of pictures and stones. Then they give you like platinum bands and crap like that.

I didn't get a class ring, I thought it was a waste of money (not that it is for you, if that's what you want, go for it). I just figured I wouldn't wear it at all after I got out of high school... I found the letterman jackets much more useful.

I'm not getting a Letterman Jacket (I could for Drama or Band) but I never really liked the style. I am planning on wearing my class ring after high, which isn't to far away for me.

My class ring looks like the one posted, only it's the June birthstone which is supposed to be purple. It changes colors though, pretty neat. All I got was the basics, what we had to get. That included a picture on each side, first name on one side, last name on the other, name written on the inside and the stone. I got on extra item which was a cross over a bible under the stone itself. The whole thing cost almost $400 I think. My mom paid for it as my graduation present.
