Don't watch the movies! Read the books! So trust me on this one. The main antagonist from the books, Carlos, the reason David Webb became Jason Bourne in the first place doesn't even exist in the movie. The movie is so anti-climactic, while the books keep you guessing throughout.
Though, if The Bourne Identity, (movie), had been titled something else, it would've been a great movie. I liked it, but not as having anything to do with the books.

Well, as I haven't read the books (not that I'd necessarily have the same opinion, that is), I thought the first one was okay. I'll probably wait to rent The Bourne Supremecy. Are they going to make the Ultimatum, too?

The books are great. Hard to put down. Long, though.

Ahhh, I think the movies were good, the books were of course better, but what books are not better than the movies. And yeah, it does suck that Carlos wasn't in the movie.

Now, I know I'm getting old. I didn't know there were any such books. What year were they published?
I was reading an article about the Bourne films. It is rumoured that many are planned. Could we be looking at the next James Bond? As I haven't seen either movie, I can't comment on that but can any of you?

See, I saw the second movie, but not the first...so I was sitting there going, "Why is there all this running?! Dude, shooting people is bad!" It was interesting, though.

I know that most people say that the books are better but I'm a movie's person.
When this movies come to our theaters, I'm most likely to go see it

I saw Bourne Supremacy in cinemas the other week and it was amazing! I loved it! Esspecially the ending!
Anyway the next day I went out and bought The Bourne Identity which I hadn't seen before...needless to say, the second one made a lot more sense after that.
I am actually interested in getting the books - I've heard there's an "omnibus" edition featuring Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum which I'm looking for. They have it on Amazon but it's 3-5 weeks waiting which is a bit long.
Are they written from a third person or first person perspective? Only for some reason I can never get into first person literature lol.

Third person. And be prepared for the book to be nothing like the movie. I mean nothing.

Cheers; still not in stock on Amazon
Next time I'm in town I'll look for it. I've heard that there's a fourth Bourne book but it's not by Ludlum and is no where near as good as the original trilogy? Is that true?
