Alright folks, Kerry today said that the Iraq War was a, quote, "wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Here's a snippit from a FOX News article:
Quote: | Earlier in the day, however, Kerry declared the decision to go to war in Iraq an error, saying the president had sent U.S. troops to the "wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Bush fired back at that, calling Kerry's remarks another switch in position by a senator who originally voted to give the president the authority to act in Iraq (search).
"He woke up yesterday morning with yet another new position. And this one is not even his own. It is that of his onetime rival, Howard Dean. He even used the same words as Howard Dean. No matter how many times Sen. Kerry flip-flops, we were right to make America safer by removing Saddam Hussein (search ) from power," Bush said at an outdoor rally in Lee's Summit.
The Dean reference alludes to the line the former Vermont governor used in February 2003, when he said Bush was focused on "the wrong war at the wrong time" concerning Iraq. |
Alright, my Democrats. Tell me this: How can Kerry say that he "would have voted to go to war under these same circumstances" (not exact quote) and yet NOW during his midnight speech say that Bush mislead us into Iraq and he has said that this was the "Wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Yet again he's taking the SAME side of the issue AT ONCE. He's flip-flopped SO MANY times on Iraq!! Come on, how can you make sense of this?

^I don't think he's changed his mind once. He must have an opinion in his head SOMEWHERE, but supposing he does, he seems to weak to actually state and stand behind it. It seems. I'm curious as to what his true opinion is/was.

His opinion is: PLEASE THE PEOPLE. When you go to a group that believes one thing, say something that pleases them. When you go to another that believes another, appease them.
Edit: Something of mine...
The Newest Kerry Ad
Quote: | I'm John Kerry, and I approve this message.
John Kerry is against the Iraq War. Senator Kerry has fought for the Iraq War. And has fought against it. And for it. And against it. And for it. He's also voted to support our troops and THEN voted against it. He has a side for every defense issue. Sometimes two. Senator John Kerry is the right man for the job. We need someone who can believe in two sides of each issue at the same time. |

IMO, he's too weak to have an opinion. Well, one that is his own, naturally.
Hell, he'd probably be willing to attack Canada. (Because of those criminals Terrence and Philip, naturally, )

Sure. But yeah, he can't make up his own mind and have his own opinion, and this guy wants to be President!

The third option's funny!
I changed my mind. It isn't.
I haven't been following the debates, so I can't take a stance either way.
Or maybe I can.
No, I can't.
((But if Kerry were to attack Canada, we'd just fling some donuts at him and cut off our fresh water and lumber supply, and then he'd sign a new free trade agreement that would completely rip us off and everyone will be happy, especially Shawinigan.))
Actually, that's a great third option. But I'm not John Kerry.
