How does that make it the capital of the world? I really don't think anyone from the rest of the world felt patriotic.

The UN is headquartered there, making every other country have to come to the US. NY, to be exact.

One building(or complex, or whatever it is ) doesnt make it the capital of the World, though. There is no capital of the World. Brussels could be the Capital of the world, because it's the headquarters of the European Union.
So with that said, I refuse to accept that NYC is the capital of the World, or that any other city is, for that matter.

The UN is bigger than the European Union, but Janeway made a good point.
