The Matrix was lame. The first one wasn't terrible, but it was all down hill from there.

The plot was simple, the characters were lame. Reeve's performance was HORRID (as it usually is), not to mention the 10 minute rave scene... The movies were all flash. The lame overuse of graphics was an attempt to overshadow the lowsy plot and directing.
They had a lot of promise after the first movie, but the 2nd and 3rd were crap.

Thats not true. You have no idea the amount of detail that went into it. If you took the time to understand you would think it was great. It wasn't all flash. Overuse of graphics? This is SW all over again.  Reeve bad? Why because of the way his charecter is meant to act? 10 minute rave scene? You complain about overuse of graphics but when they have one scene without it, you still complain? There was a reason for that scene you know?
