PostThu Sep 02, 2004 10:19 am    Cube

There was this movie at an independant film festival called "Cube." I downloaded it because Nicole DeBoer (Star Trek DS9's Ezri Dax) was in it. I kinda started watching it, but then finished it up last night. It was actually a REALLY DAMN GOOD movie!

The story is they are stuck in some super cube, with tons of rooms. They have to figure their way out of the cube, while trying to not go insane. It rocks.

Hell yeah! The best part was:

When like everyone died, and the only person who made it out of the cube was the retarded dude. That ruled.

*gasp!* Spoiler! ^

I was really sad when Ezri died though. That sucked. And getting stabbed by the crazy dude...He was cool though! Randomly running around getting people. Awesome. I really liked how the retarded dude got lost, and everyone totally thought he was done, and then he was the only one to survive. Awesome.

Cube 2 was good on one level, but it didn't have the complexity of the first one.

Whoa...theres another! Sexy...I should watch it, I really liked the first one.

The absolute 100% super greatest part (plus that I like using spoiler tags)

They never showed what was beyond the cubes! They just showed the dude walk out there, and that was it! There was nothing else!

Cube 2: Hyper cube you mean. I kinda found that movie distrubing but good. Especially the different characters. I believei saw cube too but that was a long time ago. But as i remember i liked that one too. It had a lot less than Cube 2 though. Can someone PM me too freshen up my memory about Cube? thanks.

Oh yes, Cube is very good indeed. I bought this movie on DVD a few years ago and really liked it. It's a real mystery and quite scary. Nicole Deboer played a real smart mathematician.

I saw the DVD of Cube2 at a store just a few days ago but didn't take a look at it. I don't even know who plays in it...

Yep! Cube ruled. I want to get the second one now. At first I just for it for Nikki in it, then it turned out really cool!

Ah right! I miss-read your previous post.

I should check it out as well... She's probably not in it as she died.
