What if the founder of Star Trek never existed? What then? What would Sci-Fi be like? What would the world be like now? What would YOU be like?

Um, that is a scary question dude. None of us would probably know each other. We would all be living our same old miserable lives, WITHOUT Star Trek.

That goes for me too. All I watch is Trek on TV. If Trek is not on, then I just turn it off all together.

Let's see...I would not know any of my closest friends and/or people closer than that, I wouldn't have gotten into writing, I wouldn't watch television...wouldn't have much of a life. And I would bet half of sci-fi would probably never have come about.

Can't disagree with that last sentence, but I would have gotten to know some of my friends, although some would probably be different, but I still would have gotten into writing (thanks to Star Wars) however much would be missing...

Rethink that: Star Wars DOES rule unopposed--well, maybe not. LOTR is tied now (as of the last year).

Yeah same.
I think that there would be no really big sci-fi shows, because TOS was kinda ground breaking. I don't even think Star Wars would be around.

If Mr. Roddenberry never existed, then....
1: There's Star Wars.

Simply: I wouldn't be alive. I met Johny on a Star Trek chatroom, and he's saved my life so many times now, that he owns me
