You guys ought to check out this site. AnySoldier.US

You used to be able to just send care packages, but now, because of all of the anthrax and crap, you can't. This is a way to do that.

You can also send things to the Iraqi people through this site.

Go look at the things these guys are asking for. Kool-aid. Soap. Socks.

Hmm I'll check out the Site, might send some Iraqis some stuff or maybe even Soldiers.

Do you have to be a U.S Citizen to send stuff?

I went out and bought 50 packages of kool aid yesterday. Only $5. I am gonna find some more stuff to get, and send it over. I even bought the envelope ($1.20).

I got my boss to donate some stuff. Tomorrow, I'll go buy some more things. (The cheap twit even donated some DVD's!) I asked one of the Air Force guys who comes into the store to check out the site for me, to see if it's legit. He came back just before we closed, and said it was.

Make sure you don't send anything that will melt. Remember it is like a hundred and thirty degrees over there right now.

^^ Good. I'm glad that people are getting warned about that now. It was ugly when people were mailing stuff down there that was melting all over the place... talk about yucky...

This is another site where you can get involved. It also has a lot of information about what is ACTUALLY going on down there as per a soldier who just returned.

I sent an envelope. 50 packages of kool aid. 5 tins of altoids. Not much, but I thought it would be appreciated.

I just have to pick up some cards, dice and other games tomorrow, and my package will be all set to go. Oh, yeah, a soccer ball, too.

I'd send something, but being eleven often restricts you from sending packages across the world

I feel good for sending what I did. I think it helped a little. My cousin is over there, so I kinda thought sending something would be cool.

The site is now www.anysoldier.com You can choose any branch of the service.
I know it's an old topic, but I thought it was worth reviving.
