I wonder how the Iraqi soccer team feels knowing that when they get home, they will be heroes, not murdered for failing to medal in the Olympics?
Iraq's democracy is in it's infancy, yet it seems most of you feel they ought to behave as mature adults.
Pardon them.
Of course their will be uprisings. And civilians always die in war. It's unfortunate, but true. BTW, would someone like to "do the math" and find out how many of the alleged 13000 dead Iraqi's were killed by Iraqi's? You leave off that one part, and it makes it look like the troops are totally inept, when in reality, that's not the case.

That last comment seems rather rude. Why should we hold our lives higher than other people's? Not to mention these are Iraqi CITIZENS. The Americans that have died (except for a few) were in the military. They knew the risks (so did the ones who weren't in the military, obviously).

Ironic that you say that. Democrats always say "Our nation's economy is in shambles and what does Bush do? He sends out money to help foreign nations for oil and blah blah blah." We help other countries attain the freedom we have and what happens? We get complaints. People saying we shouldn't help them and we have no place there! Saddam made people dig graves, jump in them, and then he had his men shoot them. The man was f^%*($g sick! He murdered people constantly. The world is a better place with him locked up. Its easy for you to say that we have no place ther sitting behind a computer in a nice house with freedom and no fear of being shot by the army. God forbid we give that to other countries. How would you feel if you lived in a foreign nation in constant fear that the government will kill you everyday of your life. Your only hope was a powerful nation but people within it complained because they would rather be serviced first than save you ass? Tell me.

I never said that I don't support the Iraq war. Or... whatever that was that you just said. I'm not sure what it was about.

He said:
"Why are we more concerned about Iraqi deaths than American?"

I was only trying to make sure that that didn't mean that we should hold our lives in higher regard than anyone elses.

I didn't mean you said it specifically. I meant Democrats. Not exactly you. Your comment reminded me of that. Im not sure how you don't know what I was talking about. I think its pretty clear....
