ok I need help

a long time I go I watched a movie I think was called Owl. but I cannot seem to find it.

ok this is the plot from my point of view.

Girls parents are kidnapped, she then goes looking for a man who is like an owl as he doesnt sleep his family was all killed and he never sleeps, a tag line of the movie was Hoot Hoot Dirtbag,

anybody think the've seen or know anything of the name.

I know this may be off topic, but I saw a movie once where there was this really nice upscale private school, and this group took it over, and some kid who had got expelled from it in the past had to sneak around and save the school. Picard was the leader of the people taking over the school. I want to know the name of that movie.
