They beat Portugal 4-2,
If the reason for going to war was for oil it has gone very well, what with it being over $46 a barrel. I don't believe it was the reason that the war was conducted though. Neither would a vendetta carried over from his dad, no one is that stupid. Freeing the Iraqi's is very good, although Al Sadr doesn't seem to think so, but it wasn't a main reason used (at least here in Britain). I agree with the war, but I think they should have given the weapon inspectors a little more time to have a look around before going to war, and used that time to plan for it more. Some of the troups were equiped with boots meant for Sweden, not 50 degrees celcius +. A number of British troups also had to get toilet paper from their American counterparts as they didn't have any.

Agreed, of course. You made some good points (except for the "more time" comment)
