what exactly is a brues?

Is it like when some blood vessels are burst and you are slightly bleeding under your skin or somat?

Yes, a bruise is a broken blood vessel under the skin. A bruise goes through several colors begining with a dark blackish blueish purple, and ending with a yellowish color. The blood is returned to the vessels by the lymphatic system. Any other questions?

Secondly, yup, that's basically what it is. I'm covered in bruises at the moment, becaue I keep bumping into things and falling over. I'm worse than a six year old

That means they are under a deeper layer of your epidermis. There are many layers in your epidermis, and many small blood vessels. It could be that one small vessel burst in a lower layer.
