I am only 15 and you have to be 16 (at least in Pennsylvania) to donate blood. But as soon as I turn 16 I will start to donate blood.

My blood type is A+ I found out when I was pregnant... they almost had to give me blood during the delivery, because I was bleeding so heavily (that's mostly why I had to have an emergency c section).

Lollypop... you'd have to have a c-section, so it won't hurt at all

First you've got to figure out how to get pregnant, since normal methods won't work for you

I just looked on the red cross website and it says u must be 17 or older to donate in the US. I would think you have to be 18 in OK. You know the reason it gave? 'Those under 17 are not capable of giving consent on their own' BAH!!!!!!! IT IS MY BODY I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS SAY IN WHAT I DO WITH IT! ERG! THIS AGEISM CRAP DRIVES ME INSANE!

*ahem* Anyways

I don't have a 'doctor' persay. How long has it been since I've been to a doctor anyways? *thinks* Can't remember. Well, other than like, emergency stuff. Eh well.

Maybe I'll be able to donate when I turn 17 in 4 months

You guys are so brave. I'm scared of needles so I wouldn't dare to give blood. I'd probably faint or summat.

I have A positive blood. You, know. I personally don't see myself ever going to the doctor's and giving my blood. Even if I was old enough, I still wouldn't want to. It's just icky and needles give me the heebie jeebies and I just outright don't like hospitals, for the most part. They are the things that give me the heebie jeebies. I know that the things that go on in them help save lives, but for the most part, I try to avoid doing something that would result in my having to go there.

There are a lot of blood drives outside of hospitals, school gymnasiams for instance plus many other places. so even if you dont like hospitals you can still give blood.

Your fear of needles however, i dont have a sugestion for you on that issue. Maybe someone will invent what they use in star trek. That looks needleless
