I've never been a fan of fighting games.

However, Mortal Kombat is still the best game-to-movie adaptation.

And while I don't agree with the majority that MK: Annihillation sucked, it certainly wasn't as good as the first movie.

I LOVE Mortal Kombat. Its a great franchise. I wish it wasn't going so slow. Have you been to the official site? They update every 3 years. It sucks. BTW? You forgot to mention MORTAL KOMBAT CONQUEST. This is one of the greatest tv shows that ever existed. They are making a part 3 movie. When does the new game come out?

I think I played the first Mortal Kombat game around 1993, although I can't remember the console I played it on. By the standards of the 1990's, it was a good game, although I always preferred Street Fighter.

I have seen the first movie. It's not the greatest movie ever but it's worth anyone's time and is fun in parts.

Don't want to go off-topic but one of my favourite 80's games was Double Dragon, another great fighting game.

I only watched it a couple times back in like '99, but I don't really remember anything about it.
