French Fries are thin chips
Fries are what I call the mucky bits at the bottom of deep fat fryers that my brother eats...
They are crisps because they are thin and crisp
They are not chips, because chips are:
Dictionary: a chunk of a substance that has been broken off with rapid force or a refined wedge of potato or a round piece of plastic used to represent money whilst gambling or a kick in football (sorry SOCCER)
Wot do Americans call fat fries then? Hmmmm?
