Whoo, Defiant! Well, I guess you, like so many Liberals, want a horrible economy, primarily when a Republican is in office.

Horrible economy? And you call what we have now good??? We are massively in debt, losing social security, unemployment on the rise, and the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer.

It's getting better.
I don't like the debt, but that's not really the economy.
I don't like the lowering of social security.
Unemployment is NOT on the rise--it's going down.
The rich are NOT getting richer than usual, and the poor are NOT getting poorer.
And what I was saying that the Liberals are truly HAPPY about the bad economy, because what's good for them is bad for the country, what's good for the country is bad for them.

Dude, I cant believe you just said that. That was the worst thing you have ever said. Period. So far out of whack, and a blatant attack. NOT cool.

Well...y'know, he has a small point there. I don't exactly see the liberals celebrating when Bush does something good for the country, just trying to criticize it, or dismiss it. But generally, I mean--yeah, the liberals do want what's best for the country. Just their version of what's "best." (Right or WRONG...depends who you're asking ) ...liberals are generally well-intentioned people...

Calling each other names doesn't get your point across anyway. Unless you are just trying to pick a fight...

I didn't call him a name.
You're a Liberal--is calling someone a Liberal a "name?"
And Defiant, I apologize, but that's how I see you all.

personally i think social security should either be cut or they way it is run should be changed....the workers pay the tax now and there money goes to the people who are retired but some...not all...of the people that get social security checks deserve them and may have not even worked at all before...i personally think that at least some of what you pay in to social security should be put into an account or something just for you so you will for sure get it back when you are of the right age instead of how its going now where the program might not even be around for some of the people paying in today and to them its not fair and is a big waist of some of the time they worked to earn that money to pay in thats what i think

I am sorry that I offended you. That was not my intention, stating what I believe that MOST Liberals believe--Is that stereotypical, if I don't brand a whole group like that, and instead add "Most" or "Many?"

NEW YORK U.S. stock markets hit new lows of the year Friday after the government released much worse-than-expected unemployment data and investors continued to fret over high oil prices.
No, it isn't getting better.

Medicare and Medicade, people? News flash: IT DOESN'T WORK! Sure elderly people and kids can get medical attention, but what about everyone else? You have to be basically homeless to even get help! What about all the people who are poor but not destitute, who can pay the rent but couldn't even think about being able to get health insurance? THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OF IT'S PEOPLE! EVERYONE has a right to decent healthcare, EVERY SINGLE PERSON NO MATTER HOW MUCH MONEY THEY HAVE!!!! It makes me SICK to think of all the people suffering out there because they can't see a doctor! I heard about a guy who PULLED HIS OWN TEETH because he was in so much pain and couldn't afford to get to a dentist! There are people out there DYING because they need surgery and can't pay for it! I don't really care about the middle class people's taxes, what is the government going to do to help the poor?
And you know what? Does it really matter if there were WMD in Iraq? Even if there was only a 25% chance of it being so, I would still support it. That guy was insane, he murdered and tortured his own people, and I don't really care what the circumstances were around him being overthrown and a new government, run BY THE IRAQI PEOPLE, being set up were, as long as it happened, with as few casulties as possible.
And when we started that stuff in afghanistan, they gave aid to the PEOPLE. We were fighting terrorists, but we still gave help to those innocent yet affected.
*edit*
I just went to the websites of both kerry and bush and peeked around a bit. I cannot believe kerry said he believed life began at conception and then endorses abortion. He makes these big claims about a woman's right to choose... I fully beleive in a woman's right to choose, but NOT to choose to murder her unborn children! He supports gay marriage, abortion, keeps saying things and then doing something else! I do not wanta guy like that being the president of my country, thank you very much. He claims to be a man of faith and yet does those things. Ugh.

Look at that. Look what bush does, and what kerry does. If I had a vote to give, it would so totally go to bush.

I agree that everyone deserves healthcare, but the government SHOULD NOT have to pay for all the medical coverage of people, ESPECIALLY in a capitalistic system!!!

1. It REALLY matters to the Dems.
2. I agree with you in basically all places there.

Hey, do you know what he thought first? He SUPPORTED abortion, then said that life begins at conception, and now--I have NO idea about now!! But then again, he's flip-flopped on most every issue I don't know what he stands for, aside from higher taxes and cutting defense, of course.
He makes these big claims about a woman's right to choose... I fully beleive in a woman's right to choose, but NOT to choose to murder her unborn children!
Agreed!
