I don't know what the numbers are, but in Physics the other day we learnt about Impluse.
And the other classes teacher drew a pic of the enterprise on the board, and made up a number for half impulse. And then he was like "If Captain Kirk is Captaining the Enterprise, and she is travelling at 1/2 Impulse, and then accelerates to full impulse, what would the impluse be, and how long would it take to change speeds"
Impulse is a thing in physics btw.
